  1. For me and my dog it was “love at first fetch”. I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I took Buddy out to play. I grabbed a tennis ball threw it and he bolted after it, fetch has always been and probably always will be his favorite game. He loves playing fetch with any kind of ball, but it takes a little more work to get him interested in frisbees.

  2. My dog was like that when I got him, I used treats to reward him for calm relaxed behavior and gradually closed the distance between him and other people. The most important thing is that you remain relaxed. If your dog senses that you have tensed up at all it won’t help your dog relax. Our dogs take a lot of cues from us, especially if they have a very strong bond with us, we can help our dogs by giving them relaxed cues, it really does help them to not be as afraid. 🙂

  3. Yes! And for those who are worried about they dog being not interested in frisbee – my dog didn’t even want to touch frisbee at the begining, now, half year later she’s going like a bolt to get it, jumps for it and does some tricks involving frisbee! It’s all about commitment 🙂

  4. My puppy took 2 weeks (got him at 7 weeks old) to understand the game of fetch. And still after that, sometimes, he forgets to bring back the toy or drops it and runs to jump on us or just lies on the floor. It’s very funny actually, because often after 5 minutes of play he’s like: “ok, I’m done now” and lies down.

  5. What about a dog who is too excited about the toy, so he would be crazy to get it, try to jump and so on when I try to refuse it to him? Any advice?

    1. @Angela Nelson
That’s normal,as it’s a mere animal. But we can realize how cold human relations can be when we realize that no one cares about you.

    2. @Angela Nelson BAD Angela…That’s a BAD BAD Angela Nelson! We dont act like that.
You go lay down…or go to your cage (if you have one)

    3. +Angela Nelson can be trained! She just hasn’t found the right treat yet to get her motivated; sounds like the kind of animal that would go crazy for a big piece of raw meat that she can sink her fangs into.

  6. He is 11 weeks. Just learned sit, lay, to fetch ball, and shake hands. very happy with his excitement to learn. Looking forward to catching frisbee.

  7. My dog can sit, lay down ,shake and stay but he still bites and he is 1 year old OMG I don’t know what to do thank you so much for helping me with this videos though
