  2. This is my entire philosophy with animals. Trust is the core of all good behavior. I think avoiding yelling and teasing, even though puppies are super fun and playful, is so essential. I treat my animals with respect, and they listen to me when I tell them to do something.

  3. If I hit a big tangle when I’m brushing her, and she wants a break, I’ll stop brushing until she’s communicated that she’s ready to go again.

    1. Plus when we’re training, if she’s not understanding the request and is getting frustrated, I’ll switch to something she knows well (sit, paw, roll over etc.) and once she’s relaxed, I try again with the new request, but break it down into very simple steps/ find a different way to teach it to her that she may understand easier.

  4. I have 2 long hair dogs .golden and aussie . Both come running when the vacuum is turned on . They get a good scratch .and brushed keeping the vacuum hose away from eyes and ears
