  1. I needed this video. I have a 14 month old Husky who doesn’t like being touched and groomed. Thanks so much. Would you be able to show a video of desensitizing the dog to nail clipping?

  2. This is exactly what my dog is like, corgi and aversion to having his paws touched. This is so helpful. I hope this turn into a mini series and have the opportunity to see the process!

  3. One thing to look for is make sure the dog isnt in pain where you are trying to get to. Being involved with dog sports, most dogs dont always show signs of pain until its too late. Be sure to check with vets and canine body workers and chiros to make sure everything is good!

  4. Thank you πŸ™ŒπŸΌ started work on this today with my dog who fates having his feet touched and nails trimmed. Seems like it will take a while but it will be so worth it.

  5. Can you do a follow up video on his last few days of his board and train. I have done the exercise you demonstrated and would love to see the progress that can be made in 2 weeks.

    1. It varies from dog to dog so much.
I was essentially doing the same what Natalie is doing but with verbal marker β€˜yes’ and with a small dog e-file (as I was too unsure to use clippers, Basil is my first dog). It took me 3 months to go from having the file on vibrating next to him to be able to sand tiny bits of his nails.
I’m able to lay him flat on his back and trim his nails with the clippers now, about 9 months later. The biggest thing is that he is happy to see the tools and he knows he’ll get plenty of treats πŸ‘
I think I could swap to clippers sooner, but wasn’t mentally ready yet 😌

  6. I really like the way you explain things, so friendly, detailed and quite easy to learn…thankyou sooooo much

  7. Hi Natalie!! You have helped me so much! I am soo grateful to have found your channel😍 quick question what is the brand of the high beds that you use or most like. Looking for one

  8. your videos are great but with the back ground music it is sometimes difficult to understand what your saying I wish all the youtube videos would just get rid of the extra noise
