I really appreciate watching someone who is actually educated taking the time to make youtube videos on the subject of dog training. Much needed & much overdue! Thank you! 🙂
😆 definitely no formal education in the science of training. You live under a rock lmao
@lauca6969 totally agree. Got that in the first two minutes of the video. Too Cesar Milan’ish…
@dogboy if your reward only trainers or believe in that you don’t understand dogs. It’s all about balance. Even human children need boundaries and discipline to thrive.
@dogboy Second point for balance. When Natalie demonstrated e-collar levels on her dogs the shepherd which was in the down behaving correctly. The first time she used the collar on the lowest level the dog looked at her, indicating the dog felt the collar. Second time with the level higher the dog licked it lips nervously, confusing the dog because it was doing nothing wrong. Unfortunately only on the third time did Natalie notice because the dog decided to sit in response to rising stimulation. This if continued would certainly build distrust. In my opinion the e-collar should only be used to reinforce behaviors the are life or death like recall. Not for compulsion in trick training. All things can be taught without modern technology though.
@Canine Performance Hi Natalie thanks for the video. I really appreciate it. What is the name ifvthe throw toybyou had and where did you get it?
It’s really a Good one within the first time I loved your dogs and your channel ,
You will get in a whole new level ♥️🥰
God bless
Control, consistency and repetition.
Crates are a safe place not a punishment place. Dogs are den creatures and feel safe in a crate.
Well done.
RisingSun0203 but pet md says dogs arent den animals and dont naturally den or eat commercial dog food, its a product of mans enslavement of them. #caninelivesmatter. https://m.petmd.com/blogs/fullyvetted/2010/january/dogs-arent-den-animalsso-why-do-we-crate-them-7002
Can’t nurture nature, love a fox as much as you like it will probably still eat your chicken’s
@Good Dog Training Services absolutely, my dogs have always had kennel. Wooden box with hole in. Been wasting way to much time looking at these dog training videos.
So many commands, sit, heal, lay down, stay bark, fart, burp, roll over. I click my fingers and point soooooo much easier. Older dogs know it younger dogs learn or don’t eat.
Electric collar, beat with a stick, blah blah a hungry dog learns fast. 🤔 Can’t think of any dog that growled at my children twice, one growl or any aggressive behaviour to my children, that was food from the kids hands. One dry food pellet at a time until the kids decided cartoons or whatever. 🤷 No more food amazing how quickly dog stopped growling, and became subservient to the child.
Game Hack yes hand feeding and working for resources or having others provide resources is a great wsy to build trust and that there are plenty of food, attention, space and safety. You are their coach/guide/teacher.
@Talina Durbec this blog does no longer exist.
When you said, “We are going to go outside.” My dog looked at me like, “Idk who just said that but I agree.”
I agree!
😅😅

@Aiden Walker Trying it out right now. Looks great so far.

You should follow her instgram! She’s a professional dog trainer 🥰 @canine_performance
thank you for this straight forward video, you didn’t go off topic at all. I watched a video on some german shepherd and the title was like 10 things to know before owning one and 80% of the vid, the dude was just doing other things. When i brought it up in the comments he got upset…. SOOOOO thank youuuuu for being so to the point and your title not being click bait.
This was by far THE BEST dog training video I’ve ever seen on Yotube, good on you Natalie
I agree!
Look up cesar Millan, he’s a genius!!
@karina kim – LOL
Your backyard is awesome for training your dogs!
I thoroughly enjoyed the three of you The best part were when you were with one the other patiently waiting for his turn sitting quietly. They had so much confidence in you that they sat down so peacefully inspite of your going so far away. Would love to see three of you together again …..
I woman found a dog at the park and nobody claim it. The dog was not trainned… until he received commands in spanish! 😀😀😀…

I need more training . So that I can train my dog !!!!
Same! That’s the secret, that’s why I’m watching. ☺️
That’s why we are all here
Loved seeing Aurora in a “down” just chillin’ while Atlas was loving life. Thanks for posting
That loose dog is exactly why door releases are so important
When that squeaky toy squeakt my dog came running over looking to play😅🤣
I like Atlas little prance steps during the “keys” portion.
