  1. Everytime I see a new a notification I just smile. I’m about to adopt a dog soon, and this channel OMG I can already see how helpful it’ll be.

  2. Once again, Zak George makes a video on exactly what I need. My three-month border Collie is doing great, but fails to come when called from a distance. I just need to get closer, and possibly lower to the ground. Thanks Zak!

  3. I’ve wanted a puppy for a really long time and your channel really helped me convince my parents that I’m committed to training it. Thank you!

    1. @Lilly Anderson unfortunately no, I changed my mind since I had a lot of exams going on and if I got a puppy/dog then I’m not sure if I could dedicate my time to the puppy bc of the exams! So I’ve decided when I finish them I would get one. Things have changed since then, my dad lost his job, dogs are quite expensive (before the Coronavirus) and I don’t think it would be sensible to buy/adopt a dog in this pandemic. I think it would be rather hard to. I haven’t read any of your comments yet but I can you got a dog! Well done. I love dogs so much and I would do anything for one. No matter how much I love Border collies, I wouldn’t be able to because I’m taking into account how much exercise and mental stimulation he needs. So I’m still looking! I really like shelties, mini aussies , corgis . Suprise, I love the herding family. Which kinda sucks for me because they wouldn’t suit me and my family. So I’m still looking! Since my mum is worried on the size of the dog, I want to let her decide, then I’ll look into the breed and see much exercise it needs and it’s maintanence etc. So yeah, congrats! You are the luckiest person in the world according to me, I would do anything for a dog.

    2. @Lilly Anderson aw oh my gosh. I’m 15 as well! Just turned 15 three months ago actually. That’s sad you can’t walk your dog :(( where do you live? German shepherd are not dangerous if you do everything correct! Super guard dogs though, my old friend used to have a massive German shepherd that used to bark every time someone knocked on the door, and he layed straight behind the door, so you could hardly get into the house. I was scared of him because I was like 9 at the time? Anyway, he actually bit the next door neighbor and he got taken away. But I feel like that family didn’t put any effort in training him because they got a poodle mix straight away, and they couldn’t potty train her so they just gave her up! Which is stupid, I don’t think they did it properly.

    3. @Lilly Anderson yo!! I’m going to do that! Such a good idea. Definitely making that document. Just to let you know, I have never had a dog before.

    4. @unaestrella Sorry the timing hasn’t worked out for you. I sincerely hope you do get a dog soon. In the long-run I don’t think breed matters too much; personality is the important thing and the vast majority of dogs have amazing personalities :). You seem to be being very responsive about this and it really sounds like you will take very good care of your future dog.

I live in Ireland. I completely agree with you. There aren’t ‘dangerous breeds’ there are dangerous dogs and they’re only dangerous because of bad owners.

Glad I could give you the idea of the document. Best of luck with your parents and if and when you do get a dog I’d love to hear about them!

    5. @Lilly Anderson thank you so much!! Oh I didn’t know that about Ireland! You are super lucky to have a German shepherd, I love that breed. But my mum, not do much. Yeah I would do anything for a dog, so I can get used to different animals as I want to work with animals when I’m older.

    1. Yes please! I’m in a condo with 2 lifts before you finally reach the outdoors so can’t take my puppy out fast enough. I got her pee pads but she’s not really that interested in them!

  4. I’ve only been training my puppy for 3 days, and he can already do 6 tricks! He’s really smart and soo cute! It’s a maltipoo and I love him soo much

    1. @Partiv Minecraft my maltipoo just chews on my hand when she wants to go to sleep fast. Doesn’t hurt at all. She never nips or bites hard unless you really provoke her, but honestly I have never seen her go that far. Maltipoos are smart dogs as mine learned to sit, fetch, lay down, stay, and come in 2-3 days. Potty training as in all dogs take time, but mine got the memo really quick.

  5. thank you for showing a “down” lure specifically for small dogs! we’ve been struggling with this one ~ gonna try it as soon as Mashed Potatoes wakes up from his nap!

  6. “Too much freedom, too early.” This is gonna be my problem to keep in mind. I have to remember that the pups didn’t have the run of the house at the breeder, so she’s not used to that – and doesn’t think of a playpen-sized world as confinement. It’s what she’s always known, so it’s normal.
