    1. Hiiiii! I’m a big fan!!
I was wondering if you could help me?
I have a 8 month old puppy (short haired border collie) and he runs away a lot like when we leave the house we open the gate to get out but he just slips by as we open the gate and he chases cars and trucks, I’ve seen a lot of people on YouTube say that you have to look exiting and have a high pitched voice. And if I try it my dog stops looks at me but then just keeps running. It scares me a lot because I think he might end up under a car but luckily enough she runs to strangers sometimes and then they grab him by the collar and give him to me. I would also like to train him to not bite the lead or jump and bite it, and to be off leash. But then I saw your long leash that you where talking about in the video but we tried to get one of them but he bit through it and it snapped.
If you have time could you please answer my message?
      Thanks

    2. @Sunset Beach Use a leash and work on sit and stay when you got him responding to those commands take him to the gate on a leash use the sit and stay command make sure to reward him when he doesn’t try to run out

    1. My dog hates showers but when I take a shower she stands by the shower, and when I open it she comes in and licks the water off every surface and off my legs.

    2. Its because dogs are vulnerable when they go to the washroom. You will notice when they are doing the deed they will stare at you, as you are their protector. When you go to the washroom many dogs will try to remain with you to ensure they are keeping you safe.

    1. Everyone on this channel seems like total rookie with dogs, walking a dog on leash forms a bond between you and your dog andis the safe way to go. You should only have your dog off leash when training in a fenced off area or property with nobody around unless the dog knows them. I’ve had dogs all my life and they literally want to be on leash and I have Belgian Malinois so don’t tell me their wimpy or something stupid like that.

  1. She’s such a cutie pie! I absolutely love it when you can see the wheels turning, and the light bulb comes on, and she just gets it! It’s so fun to watch them figure it out! It’s one of my favorite parts of training! Thanks for this informative, fun video! You’re always so good with the doggies! Love it!
Hope you’re all having a wonderful day! God bless and hugs to you and Bree, and the fur babies!☺️❤️

  2. Can you do one for service dogs, specifically how to train them not to get distracted and to be calm in public places like stores and restaurants?

  3. My dog thinks that his name means “come”, but I’m not complaining. He often comes, but not always.

If he can’t see me, he’ll come 100% of the time, because he fears that he will not be able to find me

  4. I love my Duke but I needed to get him under control, after he bit my MOTHER during a visit I realized I was letting him run amok too much. Between these videos and the Brain Training program ( goodboy°.°today ) ( remove °) he has finally been acting much more like a good doggo. Real test comes in a month… during my mother’s birthday party.

    1. my dog is still a 9 month old puppy a big dog still play bites some but when playing and running with her she likes to jump a bite not good when training to be a working medical dog i really need help

  5. For anybody wondering the way you walk your dog is also incredibly important! When me and my dog walk she is required to always walk next to me so when we’ve started switching to her walking off leash she is walking next / behind me no problem

  6. Didn’t realise how lucky I was with my dog. His hardly trained at all, knows sit and high five. His never been trained off the leash or anything, but he always comes back immediately off leash when called. Just him knowing his name was enough surprisingly.
