  1. Hi Natalie lately I noticed that my dog been so much barking at home when he hears a car park in the front yard any tips on how to sort that out. Any good recall tips too. Also my dog is scared of some people, dogs, bicycles and motorcycles do you know how to stop him being scared to.

    1. Why wouldn’t you want your dog making noise while playing that’s what dogs do. If you try to change an instinctive behavior or remove it you will notice that the dog acts out in different ways and usually in ways you don’t want.

  2. The dog never knows whats expected. It just forms associations. Dogs don’t understand what it means to “do something correctly,” no matter how well you train a cue. Corrections, pressure, positive punishment, etc. has been abandonded by modern psychologists because research has shown that it is never necessary and people/animals learn better without the negative side effects of punishment. These “trainers” are uneducated and because they get “results” and charge money for it, they call themselves professionals, but you won’t find a single trainer with a Ph.D who intentionally uses punishment, because you must be ignorant of the modern research in psychology to do so.

    1. @L Study the science of animal behavior instead of uneducated “trainers” and you will see how completely wrong and backwards your thinking is. You won’t, I know. Too hard to accept you’ve been abusing your dog for no reason other than your own gullibility and ignorance. But the science speaks for itself. Nothing more to say, you’re right.

    2. @Ethan Anyways, I don’t think you should suggest to me to study animal behavior given your suggested sources were terrible. You literally referred to someone who had to step down from his position and got sued by a bunch of trainers for defamation, and also has been accused of child abuse, as someone who is credible in dog training. That is when anyone reasonable can realize there’s no credibility in what you say.

    3. @Ethan I have a game bred pitbull i would absolutely love to see you walk him without an e collar and prongs. Even working dogs (ppd and mwd’s often use prongs and e collars. You’re theory comes from pets not working dogs.

    1. @Rafael Ascencio agree I like mine a lot more than these I don’t like the constant noise plus my baby has had hematoma surgery and I’m pretty sure he’s deaf in that ear! 😓💔 I do miss the good boy/girl sound that my first collar had from pet smart but my dogtra has lasted a lot longer I probably only need a battery but was checking in here to see what’s new and I don’t like this one that’s for sure! That constant sound has gotta be annoying to dogs

  3. Hope this guy isn’t going to be using the e collar, he has only listened to 50% of what was being said and seems much more interested in sticking his nose in the trough than actually listening to what could change his dogs life for the better.

  4. I actually like that there is another balanced trainer on youtube. Im tired of all the positive only e-collars and prongs are torture people on here. I’m looking for videos on how to use e-collars properly bc I always used prongs. I want to try the e-collar and every video that comes up are from the same 3 people. Or they are talking about how e-collars are torture devices.
