  1. My dog just caught a freebie, did your technique, had him play first, we thought it was not for him, but he loved it ,will be going to doggie Beach later,we live in Boca
Also taught Kane how to bow,he looks so cute doing it, thanks to you!

  2. I hope we get to see more footage of you helping George with his fear response to strangers. I have a shepard/dobie mix with the exact same issue. While Ive been working with her for a few years and she has made some huge steps, I still have a lot of work to do with her. Just recently she has allowed 3 people she has seen fairly often finally pet her! Before no one else was allowed but me! I just want her happy and comfortable around strangers. Thanks for sharing the struggles of real time dog training with us. It has given me more hope and confidence in myself.

  3. I’d like a series about how important it is to train your small dog — just ‘cause they’re little doesn’t mean they don’t need trained.

    1. Totally! Our 5 lb Yorkie we work to train daily. Thankful for Zak’s videos for sure but it would be fun to see him train a Yorkie. I’ve heard other trainers say they never listen but ours is pretty good.

    2. Especially the difficult stubborn ones like jack Russell, pugs, Boston Terrier (or any Terrier breed), chihuahua just to name a few.

  4. We had a two dog rule until I found Nana our Golden at the shelter. Then it was a three dog one cat rule. Unfortunately she had to be euthanized two weeks ago bc of cancer. So George George is perfect for a three dog rule for you . Two dog riles are meant to be broken!!!!

  5. As much as I understand everyone that wants him to keep George, that’s not the point of fostering, and if it keeps happening it’ll either mean that he’ll end up stopping fostering or keeping all of them which wouldn’t be a good thing at all.

The truth is Zak would be an amazing foster parent, because dogs that are obedient and know tricks get adopted way easier, so it would be a shame if he decided to stop fostering because he ended up keeping the dog he was meant to put up for adoption :’)

    1. Normally I would agree, but this is different, they have a soul connection, they understand each other in a unique way. That’s rare. George could help Zak with other fosters, as his temperament is so amazing.

    2. @R C yes, I totally agree! And even if Zak keeps George I’d be really happy! I just think if people keep saying that to all the dogs he fosters it’ll just take away the reason he’s fostering in the first place.

+if he has a 2 dogs rule it probably has a good reason, if he gets another dog and ends up not being able to manage 3 dogs + fostering it might make him stop fostering which would be really sad.

  6. I’m going against the tide here and say don’t keep him. Not because he’s not an amazing dog, but because I hope you’ll keep training and rehoming other rescue dogs. Using your platform to eduacate and rehome these dogs, will do so much good in the end. You’re amazing Zack (both of you)

    1. They are amazing, i’ve had many dogs, some that have been rehoused, but what this is different, if we make Jak feel like he can’t keep George then we are altering a relationship we’re only seeing through a screen! It’s so obvious to me that the relationship is different , it’s a rare thing, I have it with one of my dogs, I have three, I love them all, but one in particular. He can keep George and still retrain and rehome others. This relationship will further his mission, this dogs is meant to be with him. I know this because I’ve experienced it, there is an emotional attachment that is obvious. This dog is meant to be with him.

    2. Thank you for saying it! I won’t be mad or anything if Zak keeps him, but I really wish that he would talk about WHY it’s important to foster without adopting every dog too.

I think the main reason why it’d be okay, is: it seems like Zak can handle and afford another dog, plus still train/foster other rescue dogs for series. It’s based on a lot of assumptions however, since idk how it’s like behind the camera haha

    3. I agree! He’s a wonderful dog and I’m sure he will make another family just as happy as he’s made Zak and Bree. Zak said himself, there are tons of dogs languishing in shelters that would flourish under this simple short program. Not that George isn’t special! He’s so personable, cute, and clever! But more dogs need help!

  7. Zack and Bree, you guys are amazing!! Did you notice how quickly you got the last 100K subscribers? It was less than a month! 🍾🍾 That’s fantastic!! I believe there is a real need for people to know how to train their dogs and you two are meeting that need. Of course, teaching a pit bull would be difficult for most people but you make it look so easy, which has probably why you have so many new subscribers. Congratulations again and keep those videos coming. Best wishes and blessings to you both!! ❤️❤️

  8. Is it silly that I clapped when George caught the frisbee!?! 😂🤩

Yes! Thumbs up to Bree! I’m glad she has started appearing on camera from time to time. You seem like an amazing couple. It’s still about the dogs for me; but I think I love you guys almost as much as I do the dogs. 🤎🖤🤍🤩

  9. I feel like Bully breeds are extremely intelligent, and people choose not to see past their tough exterior and negative stereotype. I have a pittie myself, and she picks things up so quickly it’s insane. Also watching you train dogs definitely helps me understand your process better; it helps my girl and I be able to have a better communication.

  10. I know this has been filmed a long time ago, but it looks like you’re really leaning on using pressure to teach a dog how to drop and leave a toy. This works really well with pressure-sensitive dogs like border collies, but bully breeds in general are some of the least pressure sensitive dogs!

Instead, I find that with bully breeds and similar, playing “two ball” or “two toy” is a much less conflict driven way to get the type of behavior you want with toys.

  11. I don’t want to be that person, but I’m wondering if you’d consider training a small shelter dog? A “chihuahua” if you will.

While bully breeds are misunderstood, I feel like people have a harder time getting through to their small dogs, eventually giving up, or not trying at all! They have the stereotype for being yappy and without manners, so I’d love to see how that goes.

    Much luck!
