  1. I wish I had a puppy 🙁 saving up, because I also need to pay the vet bills and everything.. lots o money :/

*Edit: Everyone who replied/everyone who’s scrolling through the comments I got a golden retriever named nemo! Me and my parents love him with our whole hearts. so crazy to see me 2 years ago being sad about not having this dude. he’s a year old and we got him in the midst of the worst year of our lives due to extended family problems. he definitely brought up the mood and made our lives a little easier.*

    1. this makes me so happy!! we’re getting a golden retriever in a week and I was starting to regret the responsibility of taking care of a puppy but I’m so glad it helped y’all

    1. Honestly it’s important to keep them calm, so super loud noises wouldn’t work with them and cause them to get stressed, also remember that they are older and don’t as much energy, so careful with that.

  2. I find it amazing how he can just dedicate an entire channel to dogs, get 1 million subscribers, and is one of the most humble people to ever live

    1. @Emanuel Pisani It looks like either a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or a King Charles Spaniel mixed with a Golden Retriever. I said the spaniels because of the ears on Chestnut.

    1. @Bianca Rossouw in my opinion I think his way of training is out dated. Sure, he gets the job done but it could be done nicer. This way you can bond strongly with your dog.

    2. @Bianca Rossouw they are both great, with different approaches. Zak videos (so far I watched) more about precaution. Like bonding from the beginning, basic training from the earlier state, etc and it is step by step in general. While Cesar more to obedience, I think. When we failed to train or bond with the dog, it seems we could use Cesar’s way. No? 😀

  3. I wish I could restart with my dog and not let her meet everyone and every dog. I wish zak would have gone over training classes with your dog and how important they are

  4. Working with a dog’s natural behaviors and individualism provides the best window into their mind, and I am so glad you put out so many videos doing just that. This makes it so much easier to see what I might need to modify and be aware of when I get and begin training my service dog puppy. I see rote in most other training videos, but I’d rather connect with the soul. Pure awesomeness on this channel.

  5. I’ve been watching your videos forever and you helped us to have the most awesomely trained Australian Cattle Dog everrr!!! Everyone compliments her on how well trained she is, and also adorable, of course lol!! I point EVERYONE to your videos, because honestly, you are the best!!!!! Thank you for all that you do!!

    1. I think he is a cavalier King Charles spaniel or a cocker spaniel, probably an English cocker spaniel, not American, you can tell by the shorter snout.
