    1. Is there a video on involving your kids with training a puppy? I want to get my kids involved because I need for him to resopnd to their commands as well.

    1. I love the training videos but my puppy at 11 weeks is wild. She will go to the pad but then she wants to chew it. And me. And my clothes. She’s already ruined 2 pair of pants. I’m not sure how to get a handle on this kind of behavior. 😫

    2. How old is this puppy? I have a 12 weeks maltichon that is crazy. He actually does all the tricks inside the house and is very interested in getting his treats .. but as soon as we go outside the house he becomes a little evil 🦹‍♀️ he bites my feet, jumps everywhere and gets mad. While being outside he doesn’t even care about getting treats 😟😔😔 what am I doing wrong? 😔😔

  1. Omg. The potty spot training in one day has been amazing in helping our dog. Thank you so much. I did the training with my Welsh sheepdog pup who was having housebreaking b issues and I have spent so much less time outside getting him to go. Thank you worked amazing

    1. Make it a nice place where good things happen-food, interaction with you. Then they’ll associate it with positive things and somewhere they want to go and spend time.

    2. People anthropomorphize their pets, especially dogs, too much. I love dogs, but they don’t think like humans. They think like dogs. A human wouldn’t like a confined space, but for a dog, it makes them feel safe. Being in the open is unnerving for them. If you want to help your canine friend, crate them.

    3. remind her that crate training is extremely important. Any dog who goes to the vet or a groomer will have to be crated at least occasionally. If they aren’t crate trained they can be extremely stressed out from the experience. Also, if you have elderly people come over (or maintenance workers who don’t like dogs, or small children), it’s important to be able to contain your dog. Crate training is humane.

  2. THANK YOU! I’ve spent HOURS looking into trainings and my australian shepherd puppy needed more work and finally this makes sense and he responds to it! Thank you for making it so simple and easy to learn from!

  3. This might just help me. I just got an 8 week old puppy, and obviously I am gonna change it for an 8 week old puppy. But I have been so stressed the last week and this might help.

    1. @Ally Wilke so odd to make a political statement out of this video. But to your point: most domesticated dogs do not resemble their ancestors who are pack hunters. Many hunting dogs are not also living in houses, they’re kept outside in kennels. And most domesticated house dogs are not built for hunting nor do they have the drive to do so. So that’s kind of a silly comparison. An english bulldog for example, is not going out hunting with people. Dogs have become companion animals for the majority of people.

  4. This video, along with the potty training one, probably saved my relationship with my pup. We got Samson 2 weeks ago and Ive been just complete sapped of energy because he takes so much time to watch and even with a close eye he often messed in the house. In 48h of following a better schedule, using a crate more wisely, and being intentional with high/low energy exercises Im already seeing a massive change in Sammy. Maybe Im fooling myself, but it feels like a different dog. The biggest change too is with me! Im not so stressed about “what is the dog doing now?” and can focus when I eat, do chores, etc. I can even sit down long enough to write a whole youtube comment!!

    1. how is he in the crate?! we’re struggling hard with crate training our pup, she just hates being locked in there. she sleeps and plays in it willingly a lot as long as the door is not closed – once we close its like she’s being tortured 😭

    2. @Mafalda de Sousa My puppy absolutely hated the crate like 2 days ago. Now all of the sudden he started to like his crate overnight. I’m still puzzled on how he went from despising the crate to loving it????

    3. awww! it’s a big change not only for your pup but for you. You both are going through something major. I’m glad you took the time to get the resources you need!! hows everything now!?

    4. @Steven Mendoza you must be doing something right — the first time it could have been she had NEVER seen a crate before until then. He/She may start associating it with sleeping, safe space and not punishment. I feed my pup in her crate and she will go there to eat lol

    5. @Mafalda de Sousa put stuff in the crate that she likes, especially a chew, like a pig ear. Only give the special treat in the crate. She’ll learn that good things are in the crate and she’ll learn to like it. Don’t give in to her complaining. You need to give her a reason to want to be in the crate. Talk in a calming voice. In our case, our crate has a secure water cup, so our pup knows he can get a drink whenever he likes. Just gotta know that if he whimpers, that’s a sign he wants to go out and pee/poo.

  5. I just got my first ever (wonderful) puppy yesterday!! I had expected the worst, that he’d poop and pee all over the car ride home and in the house, cry the whole night, sulk and be sad… But unbelievably, he was perfectly behaved in the car, playful and loving to all of us! And he slept like a babe, I didn’t know there could be such an angelic puupp❤️🙏🏻

  6. “You don’t have to teach your puppy to like food”
You clearly haven’t met Hank, my akita puppy. He is stubborn, he will eat only if I’m not watching or near. Makes training difficult.

  7. when training the door manners, he just left a piece of kibble on the ground on purpose! he looked at it falling and made the choice to just let it go and watch at human😍
