LEAP FROG with Border Collies

Slow motion shot of Wish and Halo the border collies doing leap frog. Wish the darker dog is actually a dog who had a very difficult time with being touched by people and dogs. As a puppy and as an adult, she just doesn't like to be touched by dogs. I've worked on it extensively. And I've even used tricks to work on it. It blows my mind that she wants to be sandwiched between dogs to do double dog heelwork and this trick. I would've never dreamed she would enjoy it. After halo jumps over wish, you can see her face, a conditioned positive emotional response to being jumped over.
Getting these faces exuding trust and joy are what I live for. Training without physical or psychological intimidation is such a magical thing. When the dogs are choosing to work with you and your carefully planning so they are enjoying every minute of it.
