Dogs are, as much as we would like to convince ourselves otherwise, creatures of the wild. If a dog is left unsupervised indoors, it is impossible to be certain that he or she won’t go to the toilet or climb on something they shouldn’t. Of course, even when outside a dog should have the option for shelter should they desire it. This is why so many dog owners throughout history have installed a dog house in their garden. A dog house should be insulated and waterproof to protect your dog from the weather, but must be easily accessible so your dog can enter and exit as they please. Similarly, it should be large enough for your dog to move around and get comfortable, but not so large that it requires more than a few feet of room. In preparing this video, we dedicated several weeks to researching some of the most popular dog houses among modern dog owners.
