In this video, we'll show you how you can schedule the most important parts of your puppy training and take advantage of the natural training opportunities that present themselves throughout the day. We will talk about puppy potty training, the important parts of puppy crate training that are often overlooked. Trust me watch pawfessor videos and u will see how these people don’t know how to train
@Goddess. MJB Don’t listen to o these people don’t know what they’re doing go to pawfessor..VERY GOOD
How did it go?!
@Tessa I was about to asked the same question ☺️
What kind of dog is it?
We’ve had our pup for 3 weeks now and we watch your videos everyday. This dog is already making amazing progress!!! Thank you so much!!
Hi there, D. Casey! So glad to hear you’re having so much fun, and that your pup has been successful! Thanks for watching ~Ken

We have a 6 year old dog and a 3 month old puppy, any advice on what types of training might be good to do with the pups together vs separated?
Is there a video on involving your kids with training a puppy? I want to get my kids involved because I need for him to resopnd to their commands as well.
Also, is there a good natural way to treat with fleas with a puppy that is to young to be treated for fleas?
How many hours per day do you generally leave them in the crate?
This really helped us thank you
Anyone else watching this thinking this puppy is already so behaved, why is mine such a little demon?
My yorkiepoo doesn’t care about food. Makes it very tricky
I love the training videos but my puppy at 11 weeks is wild. She will go to the pad but then she wants to chew it. And me. And my clothes. She’s already ruined 2 pair of pants. I’m not sure how to get a handle on this kind of behavior. 😫
Exactly my thoughts! hahahaha.
How old is this puppy? I have a 12 weeks maltichon that is crazy. He actually does all the tricks inside the house and is very interested in getting his treats .. but as soon as we go outside the house he becomes a little evil 🦹♀️ he bites my feet, jumps everywhere and gets mad. While being outside he doesn’t even care about getting treats 😟😔😔 what am I doing wrong? 😔😔
Omg. The potty spot training in one day has been amazing in helping our dog. Thank you so much. I did the training with my Welsh sheepdog pup who was having housebreaking b issues and I have spent so much less time outside getting him to go. Thank you worked amazing
How do I explain to my wife that keeping the puppy in the crate when you can’t fully supervise is not a mean or cruel thing for the pup lol?
Definitely focus on quality of time outside the crate. Not quantity. The time my puppy is out of the crate is increasing as she earns it.
Make it a nice place where good things happen-food, interaction with you. Then they’ll associate it with positive things and somewhere they want to go and spend time.
@Unknown Human yes! Or if you ever need to go to the groomers!
People anthropomorphize their pets, especially dogs, too much. I love dogs, but they don’t think like humans. They think like dogs. A human wouldn’t like a confined space, but for a dog, it makes them feel safe. Being in the open is unnerving for them. If you want to help your canine friend, crate them.
remind her that crate training is extremely important. Any dog who goes to the vet or a groomer will have to be crated at least occasionally. If they aren’t crate trained they can be extremely stressed out from the experience. Also, if you have elderly people come over (or maintenance workers who don’t like dogs, or small children), it’s important to be able to contain your dog. Crate training is humane.
THANK YOU! I’ve spent HOURS looking into trainings and my australian shepherd puppy needed more work and finally this makes sense and he responds to it! Thank you for making it so simple and easy to learn from!
This might just help me. I just got an 8 week old puppy, and obviously I am gonna change it for an 8 week old puppy. But I have been so stressed the last week and this might help.
My 24 hr cat schedule is: feed it twice. Enjoy napping with the cat.
@Ally Wilke I don’t hunt and never will but I have a puppy. They’re like friends, not hunting machines
@Lord Farquaad where do you think dogs came from?Must be a liberal.I bet you think you can evolve your dog to be a vegetarian too?
@Ally Wilke so odd to make a political statement out of this video. But to your point: most domesticated dogs do not resemble their ancestors who are pack hunters. Many hunting dogs are not also living in houses, they’re kept outside in kennels. And most domesticated house dogs are not built for hunting nor do they have the drive to do so. So that’s kind of a silly comparison. An english bulldog for example, is not going out hunting with people. Dogs have become companion animals for the majority of people.
@Rachel your poodle was originlly bred to hunt rabbits and some still do to this day.Every democrat is communist enemy of humanity.
@Ally Wilke you’re literally ridiculous lmfao chill
As a college student (all online) with a puppy this is a life saver.
Phew!
This video, along with the potty training one, probably saved my relationship with my pup. We got Samson 2 weeks ago and Ive been just complete sapped of energy because he takes so much time to watch and even with a close eye he often messed in the house. In 48h of following a better schedule, using a crate more wisely, and being intentional with high/low energy exercises Im already seeing a massive change in Sammy. Maybe Im fooling myself, but it feels like a different dog. The biggest change too is with me! Im not so stressed about “what is the dog doing now?” and can focus when I eat, do chores, etc. I can even sit down long enough to write a whole youtube comment!!
how is he in the crate?! we’re struggling hard with crate training our pup, she just hates being locked in there. she sleeps and plays in it willingly a lot as long as the door is not closed – once we close its like she’s being tortured 😭
@Mafalda de Sousa My puppy absolutely hated the crate like 2 days ago. Now all of the sudden he started to like his crate overnight. I’m still puzzled on how he went from despising the crate to loving it????
awww! it’s a big change not only for your pup but for you. You both are going through something major. I’m glad you took the time to get the resources you need!! hows everything now!?
@Steven Mendoza you must be doing something right — the first time it could have been she had NEVER seen a crate before until then. He/She may start associating it with sleeping, safe space and not punishment. I feed my pup in her crate and she will go there to eat lol
@Mafalda de Sousa put stuff in the crate that she likes, especially a chew, like a pig ear. Only give the special treat in the crate. She’ll learn that good things are in the crate and she’ll learn to like it. Don’t give in to her complaining. You need to give her a reason to want to be in the crate. Talk in a calming voice. In our case, our crate has a secure water cup, so our pup knows he can get a drink whenever he likes. Just gotta know that if he whimpers, that’s a sign he wants to go out and pee/poo.
My addiction to your channel is hopefully going to help us when our pup arrives TOMORROW!!
My puppy is 8 weeks old and this video really helped my puppy behave thank you so much.
“Yaaaaasssss”
The fact that the puppy looked strait at the camera on the thumbnail, wow.
I just got my first ever (wonderful) puppy yesterday!! I had expected the worst, that he’d poop and pee all over the car ride home and in the house, cry the whole night, sulk and be sad… But unbelievably, he was perfectly behaved in the car, playful and loving to all of us! And he slept like a babe, I didn’t know there could be such an angelic puupp❤️🙏🏻
“You don’t have to teach your puppy to like food”
You clearly haven’t met Hank, my akita puppy. He is stubborn, he will eat only if I’m not watching or near. Makes training difficult.
I have the same problem!! But then again i did get my puppy only yesterday so maybe let him get used to you first.
when training the door manners, he just left a piece of kibble on the ground on purpose! he looked at it falling and made the choice to just let it go and watch at human😍
I think this puppy is already trained, my puppy not interested with the food so she’s out of focus.🤣🤣
“It’s raining kibble!!” 😂❤️😃
