I love the new intro, the but where you said “this, is Inertia” hit me because Inertia looked so proud!
Freya Keogh Great!!
Border collie. Love it.
Hey guys! We decided to run this same exercise yesterday. This is a quick video on how she’s doing TODAY at the age of 9 months (She’s 6 months in this episode) https://www.instagram.com/tv/B866ZWbJjKS/?igshid=1iqh61r3gxbek
What do you think?
Nice Zak! I’m big on exposing dogs to various environments as well. It really helps.
Poor dog….can’t even enjoy a walk/run. Continuously looking up at the owner, never even allowed to smell and explore her surroundings. Kept in a small cage, controlled continuously, not even allowed to run without a long leash dragging behind her. Only in America would this be considered good pet ownership….
Call it whatever you want, facts don’t care about your feelings.
Maybe you can make a video how to train your puppy to walk with you
@Willard help!
@Bree George can you point me in the direction of any videos that show how you managed to train Inertia to be left in between the 6 and 9 months stages? my pup is 6 months and behaves a lot how inertia does in this video but I’m not clear on how to work up to leaving her for longer stages. Any help would be really useful as this video already has been a great start and shows me that progress can be made, but would be good to see the steps in between. thank you! x
Hi Zak, you were our trainer 15 years ago with our puppy, Loki. We lost him yesterday. He was the best dog ever, and I so appreciate the foundation we gave him with your help. I’m enjoying your videos and using them with our newest addition. Thank you for all you taught us with Loki. 💙
I know it doesn’t mean much but I’m genuinely so sorry for your loss
adriana ;3 Thank you. It means a lot. We’ve been trying to get used to a new normal. 💔
@Zak George’s Dog Training Revolution props for your response to Becky.
that’s how you tubers should roll!
He ran away oh that’s so sad
hey ,if anyone else wants to discover how to train a puppy try Pycanta Puppy Trainer Protocol (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.
She is doing so much better. I noticed how she pays more attention to you and much more focus. She is really coming along. I had been a bit sceptical in some of your earlier vids but she is really going to be a great dog. Good job.
@Dr. Pawfessor Its not allowed with self promotion unless Its ur own channel
@ Dr.Pawfessor I do not necessarily agree with all of Zak’s training. Although that does not mean I will talk bad about him. Everyone trains differently. No one is perfect at training and mess up. I would love to watch some of your vids and will be doing so.
Dr. Paw is just piggybacking on Zac’s subscribers. Trying to get new followers.
@GoXxLy Anyone that talks like you is a terrible person and therefore a terrible trainer. Hopefully you can figure out how to train yourself to be a better person.
@GoXxLy your videos are garbage that’s why half of them have more dislikes than likes
I love the honesty of your videos, when things go good or bad. It shows integrity on your part. 👍🏽👍🏽
Your videos helped my dog so much between pulling the leash and barking
Yay for keeping baby Inertia tugging at your pants! I just love to see that even a dog trainer can struggle but it’s how you work through the issue that matters… aka with patience and lots of love.
Thank you. Im moving in a month to an apartment with mY 5 Yr old Dorkie. We have been living on a 20 acre property with my sons dog. Now , temporarily at my parents hose and the separation anxiety he is experiencing is aweful. I need him to calm down becore we move into an apartment and my neighbors are disturbed by him everytime I have to leave the apartment. So thank you, we will be working on his separation anxiety issues while we are still at my parents house and not disturbing the neighbors.
This is just what we needed. I mean, I love to be loved but Let’s hope it works!
Omg that painting of her!!
I love this series. Showing us with a real untrained dog is very informative. We have a boxer who’s turning 3 next month and she’s a good girl but we have a few issues: pulling while we walk her, and getting way too excited and jumping on ppl when they try petting her or when we have guests in our home, which is super annoying
Get a gate. That’s what I did.
J P does barking continue though?
This guy is the Bob Ross of Dog training and I love it.
@Blue&Green who? Zak or someone in the comments?
@M P mine doesn’t. If she scared or distracted, doesn’t care bout the foods. Beagle mix.
@Beb I also have a Beagle mix (with Basset) whose only interest on planet earth is feeding. Everything she does is food-motivated. She is more mischievous than any dog I’ve ever had, BUT I could walk her off leash for miles using nothing but a handful of treats to keep her at my side. That’s why Zach’s methods are completely underwhelming—the trick is getting the dog to do what you want without a reward consistently. He never shows us that side of his training.
@Karner Blu Good argument. A response I would expect from a dog nut.
My dog is so excited about frisbees that he doesn’t care about anything else, only problem being that he screams as if someone has stabbed him with a knife when he gets over-excited by the frisbee.
Hi Zak, it’s so comforting to see that even a professional dog trainer like yourself may still have to deal with separation anxiety in a pup. Our rescue hound Roxy had very severe separation anxiety that persisted seemingly no matter what we tried. It was a long journey but she’s finally making some incredible progress and we’re so proud of her. I love your videos!
The leaves are more of a distraction than the giraffe 😂
Where do you live with giraffes in parks and mules walking down the street? 😂
He was in a zoo but yeah 😂
10:09 Separation anxiety
nearing 3m subs and took that long to get to point of title…
@Fiat R. y e a h
I’m sure this guys a great guy and trainer but when it comes to tutorials for newcomers and outsiders; making timestamps should be one of the first things on the creators minds
Thank you so much for this
So basically exercise, give puzzle treats, and wait for the dog to relax before leaving or eating something yummy when you leave.
Both my dogs cry and bark really loud when we leave, it’s embarrassing lmao idk how to make em stop from being from an apartment with no dog pen :/
Omg were in the same situation!! Our family is trying to keep our puppy a secret so that we dont have to pay a pet fee and his barking isnt helping at all 😭
@Keyanna literally same 💀
@Keyanna LMAOOOO
I just got a puppy and he keeps crying as well n i live in an apartment so im scared the neighbours think we hella loud 🤚
