I need help: What can i do for a 10mo dog who is overly submissive only when greeting other dogs? Other dogs show aggression towards him because of this.
My dog has never show any aggression towards any dog, but when going face to face with another dog he’ll put his tail between his legs and roll over and other dogs will nip at him when he does this.
Don’t allow bad behaviors, and no, do not punch him or anything like that, just show him that you are the leader leading him.
When I learned about resource guarding, I knew I didn’t want to deal with that
So, when my family adopted this puppy, I did all the steps to avoid resource guarding, even though he showed 0 signs
He is a good dog and doesn’t resource guard, same with my pitbull
I can take anything from them, and they don’t react badly
