  1. Do you know any ways to fix not getting contact/inconsistent contact? I hate it when I keep dialing up because my dog isn’t responding and then he yelps when the collar makes contact… thx.

    1. It’s the equivalent of a therapeutic tens unit, not an electric “shock.” You should watch her videos and you would understand it’s purpose and how to properly use it.

  2. i already try using ecollar to my golden retriever
but it’s hard to get contact with my dog. any solutions ?
i already use thick hair contact point but it wont work

    1. @Maja Ambroziak Yeah the other comment was pretty rude but they def didn’t know what they were talking about 🙂 Barking is a really hard thing! It’s really important to reward him when he IS calm and not barking so that he starts to learn that’s the good behavior and that is what he should be doing. For example if someone walks by the window and he barks (it would be great to have a leash on him for this), say “no,” direct him away from the window with a leash and once he’s not barking, reward with affection & food. Eventually he may be able to see the person walking by, not bark, and you should reward the heck out of that!! Canine Performance and a lot of other balanced dog trainers have great content on youtube and instagram!

    2. @rachelrlh03 thanks for your reply and I am so sorry for bothering you about it. If it’s fine if I have any other questions in future or in few days if I have can I text you on here and ask. Of course if you don’t mind. Yeh that other comment was pretty rude your right. Once again thanks

  3. Is this an electric collar ? The thing that has been proven to be just painful and cruel and to not work that well … a that a lot of people that know a little about animal animal behavior know that it just scares the dog and risks making them more agressive … maybe or maybe I miss understood

    1. Nope! It’s not painful at all. It’s a stimulation not a shock. Have you ever used a TENS unit on your muscles like at a chiropractor? That’s all it is. Just a little twinge that isn’t painful or emotionally charged, just gets your dogs attention!
