I just want to point out that there are times that one should be grateful that a dog barks. When I was living in London, my dogs stopped burglars twice by barking. The first time the burglars broke into next door instead of my house. I found out later because they stole the car keys and my neighbour had to get a new car.
I do IGP with my dogs, and that sport encourages barking in certain situations! So i think its okay to let them bark sometimes
I have a playpen set up in my family room, and she can see me from there when I’m in the kitchen, but the minute I put her in there so I can have lunch, dinner, or do something else, she cries bloody murder. She’s a 10 week old Maltipoo. Help!
