How do you ask a dog to relax? Very curious
You’d have to train them to understand commands related to calming down. Our go to command for this is the ‘Climb’ command.
I have been working on the structured walk but I struggle with keeping my pup (5.5 month old staffordshire bull terrier) calm when she sees any person or dog. She will completely break out of the heel and fixate on whoever and then when I get her to come back to me, she whines and whines, wants to meet the person/dog. She’s mini educator conditioned (in the phase of adding distractions and distance) knows all foundational obedience commands. Any tips on this? It’s by far the most difficult part of training her.
Which E collar Are you using with this dog? Is climb a similar command to the place command?
