  1. My problem is my cat is trying to assassinate the new puppy we brought home last week. Any tips for devil cats who just need to stop being territorial?

    1. Depends on how you introduced them, but you would probably benefit from creating spaces where your cat can go that the dog can’t so your cat has some territory to itself. You’d also probably benefit from keeping the puppy and cat under close supervision whenever they are in the same space together while the dog is small. It’s normal behavior for an adult cat to want to kill young new animals like a puppy.

    2. That was my husky ..I got him at 2 months and my cat would attack him whenever he got near her. What happened was he grew so big that my cat doesn’t attack him anymore I guess because he looks more intimidating. Now When he gets near my cat, my cat will hiss at him and he backs off. They still don’t get near each other but at least they don’t attack each other lol

  2. Great info. I just rescued a dog and he is getting along with our other dogs great. He is not fond of cats, but little by little he is getting calmer around ours with just being around them. We keep them at a distance and the dog is on a leash

  3. Zak, could you tell us more about how you came to own your 3 dogs? Where you got them, when you got them, how old they are, etc. I’m always curious to know each dog’s history!

  4. I have two dogs, one is a miniature fox terrier that is 5 years old and the other is a 4 month old labrador cross border collie! Thanks to your vids our puppy is extremely loyal and trained. We even managed to teach our older dog a few things!

  5. This was the last thing we missed on our canine good citizen test, in addition to supervised separation. We passed everything else. We retest in June and we’ll be ready next time. The tips in these videos helped us prepare at home. I have a foxhound x heeler rescue, he will be 2 years old in march. Thanks for your help!

  6. Zak you should make a video explaining the science behind new ethical dog training videos . Go over some of the studies and simplify them for the general public, a different approach to your debunking dominance training video. (unless you already have one and I missed it)

  7. Really really helpful. I’m seriously thinking of adopting a stray i fell in love with.Great personality and great dog.I’m a bit concerned about my 13yearold dog’s reaction but i think i’ll figure it out!

  8. Can we have puppy getting introduced to adult dog and you show us how to make sure your adult dog isn’t getting jealous or depressed cause puppies need more work (tips or tricks for it please)

  9. Thank you I just got female Shiba Inu and I really hope she will get along with my cat felix they don’t seem to hate eachother too much like they can tolerate each other

  10. You should have a tv show. My husband and i would love to see more of you!!! Your philosopy is something we can get behind! excited to try your training method with our new rescue puppy-an australian cattle dog named August!!! He arrives from Texas in 5 days!!!!

  11. My new 5 month old half lab half husky puppy has never seen another dog. He is way too energetic and rough with my older dog. Hope this works
