In this video I train Smokey, a pitbull rescue who's owner had been incarcerated. He was left on a chained leash for days until he was eventually rescued by a shelter. This left him with a variety of issues that we are slowly but surely correcting through structured training!

That’s really kind of you to take him in again and bring him back up to speed. Much love
Your videos are awesome, I hope to foster and rehabilitate dogs in the future so really love that you do videos like these.
You attached leash to e collar directly? Is that common?
You can also give a tug i think until you take tgem off leash just using it probably reinforces more
Maybe he just needed to take a crap.
i love it
Climb ? Ive never heard of that as a command ahaha
It’s also called the, “Place” command. I think when she calls it “duration Climb” it’s another way to say the dog is on Place for an extended period of time. One of the most useful and valuable commands ever, imho.
Jennifer yeah aha that’s what I thought i just thought it was a strange command for it. Definitely an important command
Whats a goid choice for treats
And is that the vibrate collar or shock type
Why do you repeat sit when Smokey is on the place bed sitting ? Because you think he is going to break his place ? Because you want eye contact from him?Anyway, I hope Smokey has a permanent home!
Great job 👍❤️
Thanks Natalie, refreshing both to watch and learn. Great job.
this is your second video I watch and on both videos I see a dog going potty 🙁 but I really like your videos 🙂
