Agree! I don’t usually get mad at my dog when training, but when he does something stupid (from my point of view) and ends up ruining things or hurting me. He’s big and clumsy and sometimes very impulsive and rambunctious.

Trying to teach my French bulldog “down”. He’s pretty quick with most things but what has always worked with my other dogs, positioning a treat so that he needs to lay down to retrieve it ( which has previously worked amazingly well) doesn’t work with him because of his stocky short legged stature. Any ideas on how to get a down from a short stocky breed?
