  1. I would LOVE a video on how to deal with fence fighting. All three of our back yard neighbors have dogs, but my two dogs only fight with one of the neighbors dogs. It’s so frustrating. My neighbors dog has attacked another dog in the neighborhood so I don’t think getting the dogs to meet in person would be a great idea. I’ve put up a fence blocker, but that didn’t help much. I would love to hear any tips or see a video on it. Thank you!

  2. I’m gonna let my dogs bark at ppl coming near the fence, they won’t hop over and if you keep your body parts off my property, you’ll continue living 👍🏾

  3. I’ve been trying to train my dog to stop barking at other dogs and at the neighbors on either side of my house, but to bark at suspicious people in the alley or that come onto our property. I’ve been supervising him to not bark at dogs from front yard. He gets better, then backsides, but I feel I have some effect on him. I just don’t know how to get him to stop barking at the multitudes of neighbors and their dogs in surrounding condos. I talk to him about it a lot though.

    1. @youllbemytourniquet my dog loves the other dogs. He mostly barks at big dogs. He wants them to notice him and goes total coocoo pants if big dogs ignore him. He’s only 50lbs, but has the head and giant pointed ears of a 150 lb dog.
It’s complex. Still trying to figure it out with him.

  4. I think that dogs will also bark in that situation because they want to attract attention to make friends. A dog used to visit next door and Marzieh would bark at him nonstop through the fence. Then one day they met at the front door and the dog attacked her. She never barked at him again.
Coincidentally it was the same day that I had a complaint about Marzieh’s barking.

  5. What if your dog does this because the neighbors dog attacked him when he was a puppy now he charges at any other animal and people that gets near the property but he does not leave the property

  6. So what can be done about it?? My dog doesn’t bark territorially, she barks because she wants to play with everyone who comes to the door & all of her sense seems to go out of the window & it’s the only time she doesn’t listen to me or follow commands…

  7. The most common reason a dogs defense drive is activated without your command is because you’re not a leader for your house and dog. The dog thinks he’s the boss, and because of that he believes that he must make the decision on whether someone is a threat or not. So they assume everyone is a threat. Which makes this a big deal. You gotta command respect from your dog, and he needs to check in with you for him to feel safe.
