Wish – AMAZING Dog Tricks 20 Wks

Wish the Border Collie puppy can do some quite amazing tricks at only 20 weeks of age. Watch her give my older dogs a run for their money with her "Big Circles" trick!

  1. Your videos are very inspiring and your furry companions are a pleasure to watch. I’m thrilled to have found your channel, and have started trying to teach my own dog through clicker training and positive reinforcement. Thank you!

  2. Wish is the cutest, and so clever! Just curious: have you ever done any competition with any of your dogs (rally, obedience, etc.)? Love your videos! 🙂

    1. +Anna Varty I really like doing demos and fund raisers, not so much competitions. Perhaps I will get into them in the future, but they just tend to make me super stressed.

    1. +InezAmy4 The big circles are her favorite behavior! She loves any behavior related to herding- like her stopping when I stop, she invented that trick actually. I have only worked on the big circles 5 times, as she loves them so much, I am focusing more on her being close to me as fun as well – doing tricks near me and working for food instead of toys and herding. I taught her the big circles, because she wanted to herd my dogs, but by playing this fun herdy game, I can now recall her away from my dogs or anything she wants to herd.

  3. Amazing job <3 Truly beautiful to watch, you can tell how focused she is on you.
I would honestly love to know how you taught holding things in her mouth so reliably. My boy will take objects but just never holds onto them unless I run away. He either drops them almost straight away or runs off and goofs with them.

  4. We just wanted to let you know you really put out excellent content! We recently got a Samoyed puppy with some severe selective hearing issues and your channel has been a tremendous resource. Thanks 🙂

  5. What a awesome relationship you have there! You can tell that your puppy looks so happy to do all these fun games with you. Great job!

  6. Wish made me laugh out loud, zipping and zinging around the lot of you! Thank you for the uplifting and instructional videos, Miss Emily! Blessings to your family!

  7. Great video ! Such an inspiration. Its been so educational watching you and your pups grow together. Cant wait for future videos. Although im still going through your back catalog 🙂

  8. Your previous Wish video really inspired me. I have started to really get going with my 8 month old mini poodle’s trick training, and he’s super smart. We just need to work on him not jumping on me. He only does when he’s really excited, but I’m trying to make him a bombproof dog. He’s on his way. Great stay, great calm. He’s getting there, but I’ve only had him 3 months, and I know I need to be patient.

  9. Great job My Blue Merle Border is 19 weeks old and though I’ve trained dogs for 44 years I loved seeing your commitment. If you’ve any suggestions on pooh eating I’d love to hear them.Obviously she knows the Leave It command and won’t go near it on lead. Its just when she is off lead that she does it. I’m training her as my next Assitance dog. She is very willful, 🙂

  10. Thank you for this inspiration! I have got a new puppy and we are learning the basic commands and some fun tricks as well, with positive reinforcement. 😉☺️
